I'm not sure why, but it took me forever to get around to painting him after he was primed -- several months, in fact. But once I started, I found him to be a particularly fun mini to paint. Maybe I was just finally in the right mood. I spent two obsessive evenings on him after work and just couldn't put him down until he was done.
