Nerea, Anti-Paladin, from Reaper
Although my painting production has slowed, I am getting in some good RPGing. My West Kingdom (Swords and Wizardry) campaign has now been running for eight months, and I also have a PC who's still romping around Sonofotho's Yendo (Labyrinth Lord) campaign world after more than a year. So despite a minor painting and posting slump, I'm happy to say my gaming overall is still going pretty strong.
Really nice work Bard
ReplyDeleteI will echo the other Tim and say excellent work Bard and glad to hear gaming is going strong. Maybe you should only allow Tims to comment on this post.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine all of the young, impressionable Paladins saying things like, "Oh, Nerea, you are so badd, but I can make you good again!" or "Nerea, I have been so bad, er, good. Punish me!"
ReplyDeleteThe purple and black is amazing. Solid work. I've always been terribly envious of those with artistic talent. All I can pretty much do is fall off a surfboard and light myself on fire in the kitchen.
Lol! Yeah, I can imagine the young paladins saying that too. :)
DeleteThanks for the compliment -- and I think you have plenty of creativity yourself, having read your zines and blogs, all of which I enjoy immensely.
P.S.--for some reason your comment went to my spam file, and I only noticed just now and rescued it. Sorry for that!
I may not be named Tim but, excellent work! Lots of good detail
ReplyDeleteThanks guys! If I can just make it through this semester, I may find some more time for painting.
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteI'm not Tim either but its certainly a nice looking figure!
ReplyDeleteMy name is now Tim, good to hear Bard and a great paintjob as well!
ReplyDeleteHey -- Popped in to see where ya been?
ReplyDeleteBusier than a one-armed paper-hanger as they (used to) say. :)
DeleteWork just turned into a kind of avalanche the last few months, and nearly all non-work activities have ground to a halt. I have managed to keep my play-by-blog Swords & Wizardry game going and I've kept up with playing in a forum-based Labyrinth Lord game. But I've only done that by the skin of my teeth, and other than that, no blogging, no painting, and rarely even time to even glance at the blogs I usually haunt (sad, wistful, sigh) :(
But we'll see what the new year brings! :)
Hope things are swell with you!
I just said to Tim, "Where's Bard?"
DeleteSo I thought I'd come back to haunt you and see how it's going. Avalanches are understandable.
See you when you get back.
