William Dowie, over at Ramblings of a Great Khan, is running a viking-themed one-page dungeon contest. If you haven't heard about it already, jump on over there and take a look at the details.
I just sent in my own entry, "The Dødsbakken."
I figured I'd make it available to anyone interested by putting it up on google docs:

I get enough inspiration from the freebies offered up on other people's blogs and websites that it's about time I started paying it back. :)
Excellent Bard.
ReplyDeleteGotta say, that was an excellent read. I wish I was running a campaign right now, just to use this. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the very kind words, Will!
DeleteAs a judge I am neutral, as a person I love that you are sharing it with the community. Maybe I should figure out how to put all the entries into a pdf at the end for download from a single source, would that be OK with you? We have the beginnings of a pretty spiffy old school Viking themed campaign here.
ReplyDeleteOh, absolutely. I'd love to have my contribution be part of something like that! And I'm always keen to read such compilations, so I think doing one is an great idea.
DeleteSo simple but yet so awesome!
ReplyDeleteGood adventure, great karma!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your win! And nice work on the adventure itself!
ReplyDeleteThanks NBD! I enjoyed reading through both the "Tomb of Ludor the Beheader" and "Þrymjahellir" as well.
