Dwarven War Chief, Asgeir Redbeard

It's been a while since I painted any fantasy minis, so over the weekend I did the first of a dwarven warband, Asgeir Redbeard, by Reaper.

On the workbench, primed and based, are three axe-wielding dwarven warriors and two crossbowmen. It may just be a matter of time before the Kabad'zem enter the Mithril war.

Shelly: Yep, sure do. Many of the bloggers I follow and/or who follow me do as well. It's quite a therapeutic hobby. :)

  8. Whisk: Thanks! Of course these things are always sort of a "cheat" really -- the trick is to paint the whole foot black and then *not* paint between the toes (just hit the high spots). Kind of like if Bob Ross painted a dwarf how would he do it? "Now let's create the illusion of some happy little toes..." :)

  9. That's great. Happy little toes, happy little toes. Love that. Nice to see some fun stuff here, after a week of drama on the blogs.

Great stuff. Neat little painting trick.
