Reaper Miniatures' Minotaur of the Maze

With the electricity out for four days, it took me longer to finish this guy than I intended. No electricity means no magnifying lamp. For me, no magnifying lamp means no painting. But with the power back on, the project got done.

  1. He's good, very good, no power for 4 days?

    1. Thanks!

Yep, no power. Nasty thunderstorms with high winds gusting up to something like 75-80 mph all through the eastern US. Killed 13 people and took out electrical power from Illinois to Virginia (I think I read about 3 million people lost electricity).

  3. Regarding the last photo...

    I see London.
    I see France.
    Minotaurs wear no underpants.

Thank you, thank you! I'll be here all week. Please tip your waitress. ;)

    1. Yeah, I never thought I'd have to paint the underside of a minotaur's wedding tackle. The things we do for our hobby...

      :)

  4. The minotaur in roid rage. Nice work with the paint job. If I could paint that well I think I'd still be collecting them. Luckily for me and Whisk that I can't paint the eye of a bullseye.

Sorry to hear about the power going out. We must have been spared. Seems like a lot of others around us were no so fortunate. No AC in 90 degree weather is no for me.

    1. Thanks Tim!

Glad you guys were spared. We were lucky in that we only had our power out for four days. Some folks in our area still don't have it back after a full week. We were lucky too in that our house doesn't get too hot -- but man were we bored.
