The rest of the ogre warband is done (except for the clear spray overcoat, which has been delayed on account of rain). In addition to the leader, Vourgha, the four ogre grunts are also from Reaper ("Garnuk the Ogre," x 4).
Hopefully I'll have Vourgha leading his band of bully boys into battle in the near future.
Nice looking ogres! Well, their ugly as ever, but you know what I mean. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Trey -- nice and ugly is what we're going for!
DeleteVery nicely done. I like the little skulls the one in the middle has. Well done placing him first.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could kill him with my 14.
Actually, your 14 should do it in most games, even without your +2 camera or your +1 for skill focus. :)
DeleteThat is good to know. See, I'm learning so much.
DeleteWow those look great. I look forward to seeing them on the table.
ReplyDeleteI am scared of the spray clear overcoat I've been plagued with the dreaded frosting afterwards in all types of weather.
Thanks Dan.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I did have a problem with the frosting once myself. To this day I'm always a little nervous about it, since I'm not sure what exactly was the cause. My guess it was either the weather, or I sprayed too close, or I didn't shake the can well enough before spraying. So I've been paranoically careful about all three of those things ever since that incident.
You made ogres look great. No easy task. Excellent job Bard.
ReplyDeleteLovely unit of fuglies, damn good work Bard!
ReplyDeleteVery nice work Bard.
ReplyDeleteNice painting on those!
