My RPG Profile

I am currently running:
  • Pits & Perils set in a shared world campaign with rotating GMs (+Tim Shorts+Ken H, and me).
  • Swords & Wizardry White Box with my wife, set in my own Ravensburg and its nearby dungeon, the Black Tower.

I previously ran (online):
  • Swords & Wizardry White Box in a play-by-post campaign called "The West Kingdom."
  • Swords & Wizardry Core in a post-magic-apocalypse campaign called "Ephemera."

Tabletop RPGs I'm currently playing (online) include:

  • Bloody Basic set in +Ken H's Montporte Megadungeon.
  • Pits & Perils set in a shared world with rotating GMs (+Tim Shorts+Ken H and me).

I would especially like to play/run:
  • To play: anything OSR
  • To run: who am I kidding? I'm a die-hard White Box junkie
...but would also try: pretty much anything (not too rules heavey) as a player.

Well-known RPG products other people made that I like:
  • D30 DM Companion & D30 Sandbox Companion (Richard LeBlanc)
  • The Manor (Tim Shorts)
  • Weird Adventures (Trey Causey)
  • Majestic Wilderlands (Rob Conley)
Fantasy books I like:
  • The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings (Tolkein)
  • The Face in the Frost (Bellairs)
  • Conan short stories (Howard)
  • Averoigne short stories (Clark Ashton Smith)
  • Cthulhu short stories (H.P. Lovecraft)
Medieval/Fantasy movies I like:
  • The 13th Warrior
  • Season of the Witch
  • Lord of the Rings
  • Ironclad
  • Black Death
  • Conan the Barbarian (Schwarzie version, first movie only)
  • 300
Best place to find me on-line: Campaign Chronicle (my blog)

I will read almost anything on tabletop RPGs if it's: more focused on "adventure gaming" rather than "character study" ("dungeons not characters")

I really do not want to hear about: Edition Wars. If you enjoy it, play it. I'm not going to try and convince you you're wrong.

Dead orc babies are: non-existent in my campaigns because orcs are asexual creatures spawned ritually in full adult form by demons or evil wizards.

Free RPG Content I made for any OSR game is available here:
